Product Description

EDTA Plus Cream is a root canal preparation aid containing 17% Disodium EDTA and 10% Carbamide Peroxide in a smooth, water-soluble cream formulation.
It effectively softens dentin, facilitates mechanical instrumentation, and promotes the removal of smear layer and debris during endodontic procedures.

Indications

Contraindications

  • Do not use in patients with known hypersensitivity to EDTA or carbamide compounds.
  • Avoid contact with soft tissues and oral mucosa.
  • Not for direct pulp capping.

How to Use

  • 1. Isolate the tooth and prepare access cavity.
  • 2. Apply EDTA Plus Cream directly into the canal using a syringe tip or coat the endodontic instrument.
  • 3. Continue mechanical instrumentation – the cream will lubricate and help dissolve inorganic components.
  • 4. Rinse thoroughly with sodium hypochlorite or suitable irrigant.
  • 5. Repeat as necessary until preparation is complete.

Storage

  • Store at 15–25°C in a cool, dry place.
  • Protect from direct sunlight and heat.
